View exploring the implementation of a modular partition system to give tenants flexibility in the use of their space

This project, developed as part of the design at Canon's House, serves 2 primary purposes.

Firstly, to create a flexible, modular ‘kit-of-parts’ that provides tenants with a plug-and-play approach to partitions to suit the changing needs of contemporary workspace. In so doing it creates efficiency and reduces material waste by creating a repeating module size throughout the building.

Secondly, to provide this flexibility without the need to apply for Listed Building Consent every time changes are made to the partition layouts. We worked closely with Bristol City Council to agree a ‘Tenant Fit-out Guide’ that was included as part of the Listed Building Consent application and provided an agree set of guidelines that tenants can follow to avoid needing to seek future Listed Building Consent for changes.
